ENGINE 341

Picture
Engine 341 is one of two 1996 E-One Cyclone Engines currently, operated out of the Carey Avenue Firehouse.

The Engine was purchased along with Engine 342 from E-One in 1996.  Each of these Engines has replaced a Young Open Cab style Engine.

Engine 341 currently has seating for 8, including 7 pack seats (one for the officer and 6 in the rear of the cab).  This piece of apparatus can respond as a First Due Engine, or as a Second Due Support Engine for any type of Fire.  This Engine also responds to all structure fires and other types of fires, as well as vehicle crashes as a support vehicle.

Engine 341 is outfitted with a 1000 gallon tank to allow for the initial crew to get water to the fire prior to connecting to a fire hydrant.  There are two 1 3/4" cross-lays near the rear of the cab, as well as one 1 3/4" Trash Line off of the front bumper.  The engine also has about 1000 feet of 5' Large Diameter Hose which is used to connect to fire hydrants as well as other apparatus.
