Butler Fire - Expanding our Knowledge and Skills to

better serve the Borough of Butler and our

Surrounding Communities!

In 2022, after some conversations with other local Departments, some of our Members began the process of creating the Butler Fire Department Rope Rescue Team.  Each Member of the Team is required to complete the 24 Hour Course to attain Operations Level for Low Angle Rope Rescue.
We have sent members to several of these classes at this time and plan to continue to grow our Team as time goes on.

Our Team works to regularly train and expand our knowledge and skills to better help others

Currently in 2024 several members of the Rope Team have begun taking High Angle Rope Rescue - Technician Level training and are looking forward to expanding skills even more as time goes on!
