Engine 344 is a 2009 KME Predator Engine. Over the 15 years that we have had this piece of equipment, it has gone through several evolutions and tools have moved over time. Upon delivery in 2010, 344 was the Department's Rescue-Engine and remained as such until a few years ago when we ran out of space for Rescue Equipment and moved it onto another piece of apparatus.

344 has a 1500 Gallon per Minute Pump, a 750 Gallon Water Tank, a 30 Gallon Foam tank and a full complement of attack hose lines for putting fires out, supply hose lines for connecting to other apparatus and hydrants, Booster line reels for smaller fires and a variety of hand tools, ladders and other equipment to ensure we are able to get the job done.

As an Engine, 344 is one of the apparatus that could respond first to a scene to begin working on whatever tasks must be done.

Over time we have adjusted the truck as needed, and it currently has seating for 6. There are seats for a Driver and Officer in the front, and for 4 Firefighters in the Crew Cab Area (Back of the Cab).
